Welcome to 2027 WinterWonderGrass Volunteers!

Where the spirit of the Old West meets the magic of live music, WinterWonderGrass brings Steamboat Springs’ rich ranching heritage and legendary mountain culture to life. From world-class music on the mountain to late-night shows around town, soaking in the world-famous hot springs, and exploring a robust kids’ zone and the Coletrain Music Academy, the experience extends far beyond the festival grounds. We’ve celebrated beneath bluebird skies and in full-on blizzards, but the magic remains the same: incredible music, breathtaking mountains, and a community that feels like family. Come for the music, stay for the magic.

Volunteer With Us!

Volunteers are an essential component of the WinterWonderGrass family. In exchange for approximately 12 hours of work across the festival weekend, you'll be part of the crew that keeps the magic running. Roles span across multiple departments, and volunteers gain a unique insight into how festival operations work as well as make new memories and friends.
